Samsung LN46A750R 46-inch 1080p LCD HDTV (RED Touch of Color)
So you're in the market for a 46" LCD and you've heard that Samsung, a leading manufacturer, has just released its new 2008 line-up... but which of the new models -- if any -- is the best television for you?

The improvements vs. the Samsung sets from just last year are significant. The LN46A750R and other 7 Series Samsung LCD sets include a 50,000 dynamic contrast ratio (vs. 25,000 on the 2007 models), and pixel response time has been cut in half, from 8 to 4 milliseconds. Both these enhancements promise to deliver a cleaner, smoother and more vibrant picture than Samsung has offered before.
And the LN46A750R, alongside its fellow Series 6 and 7 sets, adds a number of features that were missing on Samsung sets last year: InfoLink service accessible via an integrated Ethernet port, enhanced sport and game video modes for optimal picture settings, and Home Digital Media compatibility for viewing and interaction with digital media imported from the Internet.
The LN46A750R also offers more HDMI 1.3 inputs vs. last year's sets (4 now, up from 3), and a USB 2.0 connection on the side of the TV lets you directly import your own photos (JPGs) and movies (MPGs) for easy viewing.
Another new feature on the Series 6 and 7 models such as the LN46A750R is the "Touch of Color" transparent and opaque color bezel, which adds a color tint for aesthetics.
